Meet Aleko Asimba

Founder & Director, TsholofeloCorp

Aleko Asimba is a passionate advocate for justice and dignity, drawing strength from his own lived experience as a refugee from Botswana. Raised in a refugee camp and shaped by the life-changing support of organizations like UNICEF and UNHCR, Aleko understands the critical role of community, compassion, and access to opportunity.

His journey to the United States brought its own set of trials—academic challenges, housing insecurity, and the emotional toll of starting over. Yet, through perseverance and the support of caring individuals, Aleko transformed adversity into purpose. These experiences became the foundation for TsholofeloCorp, an organization born from a deep commitment to serve and uplift those navigating difficult circumstances.

Aleko leads with empathy, resilience, and vision—creating programs and partnerships that provide hope, resources, and pathways forward for underserved communities. His work is a powerful testament to the strength of the human spirit and the impact of collective care.

As Director, Aleko continues to inspire others with his unwavering belief that every person deserves the chance to thrive, no matter where they begin.
